Welcome to my next Things I Love newsletter for paid subscribers. (I’m thrilled so many of you responded to the first one!) I’m playing with some formatting to make it better organized and easier to read. Also I love bad punny headlines so be sure to enjoy those.

Today I’m focused on things I’ve enjoyed reading online recently. There’s so much!

Note that I’m largely staying away from writing about politics right now, for my own mental health. You know I can’t stay away long, but it’s just…a lot for me right now, you know?

If you do want some excellent political content (among other things) visit the READS column on my profile page, and you can see the Substacks I read and recommend.

Those of you who know me (or read me way back when), may know that my kids’ dad was a chef—or at least tried to be one briefly after graduating culinary school. It can be a truly insane way to make a living, something The Bear is laying bare (sorry) in fresh, compelling, and sometimes difficult ways.

I’ll write more about that in another post because clearly, this is something that needs to come out.
