Happy Birthday! I am happy to grant your birthday wish, I’m planning to vote on October 17 with my whole family. My MIL is a poll worker on Election Day and I’m excited for her to experience this historic occasion. My 7 yo says daily he knows it’s our time to have a woman president and Kamala is going to be it. My favorite debate moments were her abortion rights response and closing statement and all her facial expressions when he sounded unhinged. I loved the Taylor Swift endorsement with the Childless Cat Lady sign off and my kid saying when he woke up- “Of COURSE she’s voting for Kamala Harris- she loves cats!”
Happy birthday, Liz! I watched with Emma and the kids. There were so many cheer-worthy moments, weren't there? Kamala did so beautifully, and he could not have seemed more unhinged. I believe women are going to make the difference in this election, which will be the perfect comeuppance for this monstrous, deranged man.
Obviously it's foot on the gas until election day, but holy shit does this feel a million times better than the morning after the last debate. That already seems like a different year. This hope, this substance that she brings... it's enlivening.

Probably didn't help that Kalama absolutely eviscerated him. He still said afterwards his performance was "great". If Trump actually believes that, he is more delusional than we all give him credit for.
I think my favorite moment was when my sixteen year old turned to me and said, “it’s like he’s AI and all the crazy things he says are generated by ChatGPT.” Then a few minutes later, she said, “isn’t abortion after birth just…murder? Because, I mean, that’s not legal anywhere.” It’s too bad she can’t vote.
"I still have no idea how constitutionally he should be allowed to run."
The constitutional mechanism to stop him from running would have been conviction in the Senate impeachment trial on Feb. 13, 2021.
