I feel the same way. You have really hit the core of the feelings so many of us have right now. James Carville hit me in a very similar way. Thank you from my heart!
Thanks Lorette. I'm glad a lot of us are talking about this right now. It's so so important and we need to make sure it REALLY sinks in with voters that what this guy is promising is a nightmare. For all of us.
It has shaken me to the core that so many millions of my fellow citizens have chosen to support the despicable pile of excrement that is Donald Trump. I'm not sure I'll ever recover.
Maybe I’m more proud of you for this post than anything you’ve ever written (and there have been so many glorious reads). Or maybe this one brought up the vile in my stomach, clenched fists, and a lump in my throat. I took heart with Carvelle’s Op Ed in the Times today, but I’m still clutching my pears and wetting the bed.
I ask anyone who says they are voting for Trump to tell me three policies he will implement, actions he will take, etc. that will benefit them and the ones they love. They all say "the economy". They believe his lies about tariffs, his lies about immigration....friends with trans grandchildren say it won't be that bad.
It is going to be a long two weeks...and possibly a long rest of our lives

I really am shaken. That is the right word.

We're in it together. 💙
So sorry for the typos. It’s been a long day. I’m clutching my PEARLS having eaten my pears!
I am happy to clutch pears with you any time!

I know a lot of people struggle to process information that counters their existing beliefs (it's a human flaw we all have) but his economic policies will definitely not help them unless they're mutli-millionaires. And even then. https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/23/politics/nobel-prize-economists-harris-economic-plan/index.html
A few exists SOLELY on Social Security and don't believe he is going to do what he says he is going to do. I am very frightened for them.
How Trump's Project 2025 will impact social security benefits.

(I will keep trying with logic and facts!)
Just wanted to send you a virtual hug. We're in this fight together.
Thank you. xo
Well said!
