Happy birthday!

I love that Karen talks about self-interrogating- why cut out a 3? Probably because it’s funny (it is!) and second because you’re mocking the fear that older = something not so good. That’s not on you. You’re just having feelings about it. Mostly though: Happy happy birthday. YOU are worth celebrating 🎉❤️🧁

I had to look it up. I know some fans of biohacking. But I'll be honest, if the key to "not dying" is to eat lentils all day, go to sleep at 7:30, and take transfusions of your child's blood, I'm good with living to my 90s like my grandmother. (Let alone the possibility that you can do everything "right" and still have a piano fall on your head one day.) There's got to be more to life than just living it longer than other people, right?

I have to agree. As much as I want to live a long life, I'm not trying to diminish my quality of life. I am all for health span, early detection, preventive care, etc. but not ready to sacrifice life's small pleasures for it. I need to eat ice cream!
