It's quite simple: Who would you rather work for, Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. If you had a problem at work, I feel that Harris would welcome you into her office and listen intently while you spoke. Trump on the other hand, would probably be more likely to berate you and make things worse.
Ripping up cardboard is a really great regulation tool for my almost 8 yo kid! I loved this post and while engaging with Trumpers is low on my list of things to prioritize right now, I hope I can persuade a few undecided voters in the next 40 days. It is offensive for anyone to suggest I am voting for Kamala only because she is a woman and I am thankful you have helped me to articulate my informed opinions on her policies more clearly.
Liz, the case has been made. The case is being prosecuted. The verdict in this case will be learned on election night (possibly a very late night!) .... but undoubtedly it will be decided before inauguration day.
Which is not to say the Republicans and Trump won't litigate beyond the ballot box - in the courts, in every corner of the social media, any anywhere Trump/Maga-phones can be heard. The election is not about ALL the issues you have spoken to, because it us - but it's about 'the other side'. They don't have a champion, a principled Republican sense-maker to credible debate/compete - in which case, they'd probably win on 'the economy stupid' ... which is where he is more right, and he is more left.
Anyone who is complacent and stays home will regret it. A vote is a commodity to be treasured - whether you are poor or a billionaire, you only get one. Nobody should waste theirs.
If I'm understanding correctly, yes -- their plan is to litigate their way out of a loss. Which is why we need to win in numbers too great to ignore (h/t Helen Reddy), so whatever it takes to get your "I don't know, maybe but..." friends, family, college roommate, or neighbors to the polls is worth doing.
I agree that people who stay home as some sort of misguided, ineffective protest will regret it. But I'd rather not give them that chance. Let's vote!
I posted on Insta today with the song My Shot from Hamilton- I feel anyone who throws away their shot to vote in this election will regret it and I had literally no clue what to say to the soccer dad who told me he tries to stay out of politics- I think I said it’s a great privilege that you don’t think this election will affect you.
I'm a Canadian in Canada - not a voter, but I am friends with some Republicans - I'm trying to convince them to vote for her, or not vote the whole ballot ....
All Americans, regardless of political party, really do have a lot to gain from a Harris presidency, from a stronger economy to a safer world, to a more liveable planet. That's why she has such an unprecedented number of bipartisan endorsements.
I am in total agreement and so appreciative to be able to post this on my FB page. Thank you Liz!
Thank you for sharing Lorette!

I think that’s interesting. Good listeners who surround themselves with smart advisors tend to make great leaders.
Vice President Harris has character
tRump is a character
WTF undecideds?
Let’s welcome them in! It’s a big tent.

That sounds like a wise plan! I think motivating non- or sometimes-voters is a great plan, or those undecideds who really are. Good luck Elizabeth!
This is an amazing post! I don’t need any convincing but I love having all these resources in one place. Wow, what a gift! Thank you!
I'm so glad to help Liz!
