As I age out of this world, I would like to give or donate some things I learned.
There are two types of people one will work hard but may not reach a level of financial security, or independence of another person. It is not their fault, there will always be have and have nots. The world in general doesn’t care one way or another. When the world is unfair it is unfair big time.
We all live and we all die.
The USA citizens were taught whomever has the most toys wins. This is marketing and consumerism which is a part of capitalism. They were lied to as were their parents. We really need less stuff. Stuff creates envy and sloth, and acquiring more stuff for a never ending dopamine hit. It isn’t sustainable.
Big isn’t better.
Everyday there are multiple fires we are putting out. Medical, education, family dynamics, followed by the economics of where we live. Is it the same everywhere? To some extent yes, go with the flow and watch out for riptides.
Trump is a character. He says stuff and does things to get you going. It is like playing poker. You are trying to have the best hand possible. You lie, double the pot, talk smack about everyone and everything in order to take the pot of money. Other people may drop out of the games, fold, or call you on it. Bluffing. Someone may say I have all aces, but you know they don’t because you have an ace. Or they are cheating. There is always the quiet player who watches, learns a persons tell, and wins a few hand but knows when to walk away with a bit more than what they came in with.
We are being lied to by media, the internet and it will get worse. You are going to decide for yourself what is a real need and what is a want.
Eventually we all die and the people who clean out our houses will think. “What a bunch of junk!”
