Wow. I never thought about it like that either. I'm great at taking care of my family's needs, but horrible at taking care of myself. But, if I think about self-care as a gift I give to both myself and my family, I could definitely be motivated. Thank you for the perspective!

Kim, I'm so happy to hear that! And yes, self-care absolutely benefits the people who love and rely on us. (Though as much as I say that, it still takes some effort to prioritize it.)

Yeah, I feel the same way. Valentine’s Day shouldn’t necessarily be only about giving love to others, but to ourselves as well.
